Protesters in Tel Aviv have called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign amid chaotic scenes in the city. Thousands of people have taken to the streets with clashes between demonstrators and police, according to media reports.
It comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was branded a "narcissist" by a former Israel Defense Forces (IDF) general, who raged: "The sooner he goes, the better it will be for Israel."
The Times of Israel has reported that at least one person was arrested by officers, but protesters then attempted to block their car.
Two women were also knocked down during the chaos, with images shared online which appear to show them on the ground being tended to by paramedics.
Some of the people on the march waved Israeli flags while others raised placards reading "Free Israel from..." with images of Netanyahu and other politicians.

Doors are closing in from both sides on this extremist, far-right govt. of Israel led by a criminal imposter who is mainly interested in saving his own @$$ than saving the hostages by dragging the mass-slaughter of Palestinians as long as he can.
This govt. has gone too far, far too soon even for Israeli liberals to fathom. Time is up for both Netanyahu and his govt.

In moments of change, may we remember the power of unity in advocating for justice and accountability. Authentic progress often blooms from the collective voice of the people.

Where is the accountability for Hamas murdering innocent people and parading their bodies in the first place?

More than 90% of Israeli chews support the genocide of the Palestinians. These chews are protesting Bibi, not the genocide, even though that's how 'they' are playing it.

Big protests in Tel Aviv and Budapest against two leaders, Netanyahu and Orban, who have a surprising amount in common, including a willingness to undermine democracy to stay in power and to avoid scrutiny of their corruption.

Fingers crossed that neither will be in a position of power very soon.
